If you make up a new 5 frame nuc with a frame of capped brood one of uncapped brood Stores and drawn frame. I have the nuc in the same yard as the frames I pull and the nurse bees that I shook in. I am going to assume that any field bees that I may have grabbed went back to the old hive.
Now my questin.
1)Would this nuc accept a queen more easily and in a less amount of time than an established strong hive?
2) I made up 2 of these nucs and one queen was released in 3 day and the other was released in 2 1/2 day. Is 2 1/2 days long enough for her to be acceped by the nurse bees?
Thanks in advance

I make a point of leaving any requeening or split queenless for at least 12 hours. After that, I have had no problems with the new queen being accepted. You should be fine.
