Greetings from sunny Ebley, a small only-slightly-rural corner of Gloucestershire. Housing developments are encroaching.....
Lurking in a nearby field we have 10-ish full UK National hives, and six or eight nucs. Tomorrow this will probably be different, queens being what they are.
I didn't mean to be a beekeeper - it's my wife's fault. Five years ago she asked for a hive for her birthday, and now the bug has us both.
I'm an electrical/control/process engineer by profession, please feel free to ask any questions in that kind of territory - I'll do what I can to answer them.
Hey Castor,
Welcome from the southern Appalachians! It's great that you are loving beekeeping. I'm 44 now, but I wish I had found this passion twenty years sooner.
