Curious event - I've tried twice in the last 24hrs to post images (using links to Imgbox) of bees scoffing fondant - only to be told "Your post contains inappropriate content. Please remove the link and submit again."

Never thought of fondant as being pornographic before ... :) LOL

I met with the same head scratcher a few years ago on another forum. Not sure if it was the same image hoster but the gist of it was the hoster was attaching links to porn sites along with my images. They did not show up when I viewed them though!

Yeah, it's something specific to do with Imgbox. I've since sourced a couple more free image-hosting sites which are being accepted here ok. The "computer says no" thing just took me a bit by surprise ... couldn't figure out what had suddenly changed.
Thanks Frank,

Do you have a link we can test out on our end?

If I remember correctly this happened with the free version but the paid version did not embed the spurious links. Possibly might have been something starting with Img___

I wont type in its full name!

Sure - I've tried posting the link here again, even using CODE, QUOTE etc - but it spits it out thus:

Strangely I can get the image itself to load thusly, by clipping the IMG away from the full URL :

But if the forum censor gets even the smell of the full URL, it spits it out - so I'll need to send that to you via a PM.

LJ, not sure if it is related or not, but around 13:00 Z on Sunday, I had to remove a link that was posted to a Beesource group for, well, basically a "Dial a Girlfriend" type service. First one of those I've encountered since becoming a moderator. Could be that they mined this site from the posting attempt.

Was this a link in a regular user's post?

No. A new user created a group and posted the link there. I deleted the group and then banned the user. "YunaK"

I had to alter some spam blocking tool that was being over reactive. If you get more of those weird spammy posts/groups, let us know
