Curious...Is there a beetle that one would find in the hive that looks like a small hive beetle but it's black and does not have the balls on the antennae?

Photo?

I've only seen a couple beetles in my life, and they were squished before I could see what their antennae look like. I'd suggest doing the same.

But at far as another beetle in the hive, that isn't a hive beetle, I can't think of any.

Perhaps those in areas with heavy beetles can better assist though.
