ideal location in California

Im about to graduate from Cal Poly here this spring and plan on getting into the commercial bee industry. Currently, I have 250 hives and located Tulare, Ca (central valley) and plan on relocating the business elsewhere in California where there is more natural forage for the bees unlike the central valley where there are tons of pesticides being used and limited bloom.

I imagine somewhere along the coast would be better.
Try looking for locations East of Oakdale, or Waterford.
I hear thats a good location.
I have already done an effective job of covering that area up extensively :)

Miles and miles and miles from you Matt. :shhhh:
I imagine that if there is a place with great natural forage to be had, its already got hives on it. On road trips here and there I am seeing lots of hives in areas that couldn't support a billy goat!! Might be a little area on the top of Shasta? Im serious though, im very lucky to have hives where I do, my other yards are great for queen breeding in early spring, but nothing around after May.

What's in that area for bees that would make it any better than the rest of Cali ?
