I picked up a swarm 3 weeks ago to the day. Saw a skinny queen on the day after they were caught.
So i have left them alone to see how they would make it without my help....

Well, today I went thru them and on one side of one frame there is a little capped brood and 16 capped queen cells, and 10 on the other side. !!! ......26!!!

Is that normal???

I havent got enough bees or woodenware to to take advantage of their displeasure.!!!

I had quite a few queen cells last year but no where near this many. I'm no pro, but I think when it comes to queens, its survival of the fittest and at 26 I'm thinking the queen you end up with is going to be one major BAD ***! That is if you choose to let nature take its course.
