Hi, everyone,

my largest hive has gained twenty pounds in the past two weeks, after several months of holding steady at the same weight.

I did an inspection today and sure enough comb after comb after comb slammed with nectar.

My conclusion is the flow has begun.

Regards,
Thomas

I have one beeyard just south of Athens in the town of Bishop. Supers put on in mid March were practically full last Friday. Here in my home yard….about thirty five miles north of Bishop….zip.

Here in VA, my strongest hive, four boxes packed with bees, had already filled five medium frames when I worked them this past Sunday. Most of the other hives were just starting to put some away, mostly still in the brood nest.

The daffodils aren't even blooming yet in one of my locations in PA.

You folks are a solid 2 months ahead of us.

I'm 100% certain now. One of my hives gained 30# in the past week. The other two gained 10# each.
