hello. I'm in the Texoma area of North Texas. Just started out with bee's last year. I only have the one hive right now. removed it from the wall of my neighbors shed, with help from a friend who has been teaching me about bee keeping. hope to get a few more hives for honey, and wax for candles. I use bee wax candles in my lanterns at the civil war reenactments, and would like to start making them myself.

Welcome Boomhawr, I am from the Fort Worth area, so we will have a lot of the same conditions. Don't be a stranger. Ron

Welcome. While I live in lakeland, FL...I was born n raised in Wichita Falls and used to play HS football against Denison many moons(eons?) ago.
Great place here to learn about bees and all things that go with it.

thanks for the welcomes. I'm in the guard, so I go to Fort Worth often. and since it's Air Guard, I have spent time in lovely (hot as all get out) Wichita Falls, too.
