Melt it in a solar melter and let it run through a thin cotton cloth (old tee shirt - the older and thinner the better). It comes out ready to make candles.

Melt the cappings in a cheap old crock pot (that is just used for wax - don't use Momma's nice crockpot thinking you can clean it up). Any dirt (and honey) will settle to the bottom, and the wax floats on top. After it cools you will have a nice clean block of wax in the crockpot. (You may have to scrape a little dirt off the bottom of the wax chunk.)

Clean out the crockpot, and remelt the clean wax, and pour your candles.

if you have a location to work with, put the cappings out for the bees to go through first, they will get the honey out, and you only have the debris to deal with.
