I split a hive and left 3 capped queen cells figuring they would fight it out. And, importantly, would ensure that atleast one is OK. This hive swarmed today.
Did I create the possibility for that hive to swarm again with the first emerged queen, who left behind the other unmerged queens?
In other words, what would you do:
1) Choose a good capped queen cell (CQC) and distroys all the others?
2) Leave 3 CQCs and 1st emerged queen destroys the other two?
3) Leave 2 CQCs and 1st emerged queen destroys the other one?
Any other advice for how to break what appears to be a swarm cycle?
I can't seem to find a way to stop them.
