As long as it's capped completely.... a couple of thousand years.
How long?
So I just harvested my first frames of honey ever!! My question is how long can i sit in the frames before i harvest it? It is current ly in an empty super in my mud room????

yaaaaa... about 85% capped
it depends on the 15% that is not capped. if almost ready to cap lots of time if it is nectar it will not keep.
I have most of a shallow in my kitchen from harvest last fall and it looks fine to extract this coming week. Please note that in my location I don't have to worry about hive beetles and wax moths. If those were a concern I'd have a mess to clean up instead of honey to extract!
