got a call yesterday...bee swarm has taken residence in an old shed. bees have been in there before and left so I guess there might be a little comb in there. this new swarm is inside the walls already..should I give them a little time to calm down, or would it be better to cut them out right now. the owner said he was in no hurry.

what would you do...I could certainly use the comb that they would build.

If the bees are brand new and other hives have been in there before, they are probably using the old comb.

Do what you think is best. Use as much of the comb in frames as you can. What you can't use, you might melt down.

Have a blast and tell us the whole story when you decide to do the cutout.:applause:
