Build the top bar hives the same dimensions as the Langstroths. Then you have merely to move a couple of frames into the long Langstroth hive and add bars as you wish.
How do I get things started.
I have bees already in Langstroth hives. I am looking into setting up a coupe of TBHs. Can you guys give me a few tips as to how to get the bees into their new homes. I may just wait until swarm season and put some comb onto the top bars and then hive a swarm but I would also want to maybe move some bees from one of my nucs later on.

If it is KTBH’s that you use just cut the frames to fit the hive using the follower as a pattern.
