In another thread Dadant and Humble Abode's frames received very good reviews.

The only wooden frames I have came from W T Kelley and I'm curious to know how Brushy Mt's frames compare. With Brushy Mt. shipping out of PA, I'm now in zone 2 instead of zone 4. I can have 100 frames delivered for about $16.00, but BM wasn't mentioned in the review of frame suppliers.

How does BM's frames compare to Kelley's?

I've had plenty of both and there is nothing wrong with either. All in all the fit and finish of the Walter T. Kelley frames are the best I know of. But there is nothing wrong with Brushy Mt. frames. The bees won't care and they are both sturdy enough and work. The Walter T. Kelley frames have the bevel on one side of the end bars to make it easier to pry them apart. But I doubt you would notice the difference in prying them apart.
