Picked up a nuc today but 53 degrees and very cloudy. Would I be better of to just let them set till tommorow should be in the low 70s and sunny Before I put them in a 10 frame deep?

I think so. Even if it is warm, you could put them in the deep with a division board to help confine them and preserve heat until the population builds. You are planning on feeding them?
