Hopefully I didn't add them to soon. I inspected the hives on Saturday, everything looked good and they. were boiling over with bees, both hives have two deep 8 frame boxes, 5 frames in one hive and 6 frames in the other were completely drawn. Some frames had brood and some had pollen and honey, i went back today and added a medium with seven frames to each hive, when should I add another medium honey super.

First things first. Sounds like your population of bees is good now. Next thing you should know is this. If these are undrawn honey supers you should probably rethink the number of frames in the super. Are you doing foundation in them as well? When the bees draw honey frames they tend to draw them as thick as they want when there's room to do so. So using no foundation in the honey frames can cause a mess at times. Putting the frames close the first year gets them drawn out good and uniform most of the time. Check out Michael Bush's website and read up on it a little. Hope this helps.
