I am relatively new to Bee Source. I have my bees in Dallas and Tool Tx. This is my third year with bees. And have had lots of good expiences with bees.

I do have a question. Can I harvest honey from a hive that has been treated with Terramyacin in the spring? I have heard from some beekeepers that it is okay to do so and others say no. Which is true?

ToolBeeLady,

If the Terramycin treatment was completed BEFORE the honey supers went on, then you can harvest the supers. Never do treatments when you are collecting honey for human consumption.
