Hi all,

Yesterday was my first honey extraction from my 3 hives that i started this december and it was very very exciting for me and for my family.

I brought the extractor into my salon and had a great time seeing this liquid gold running out my extractor :p

Also had a relative nice amount from each hive - 25 kg average.

As usuall, i pictured everything:

Good & sweet day,

They are all kind of family relation.
It was a little bit difficult to handle with all the kids
but also a big fun for them, and this is the importent thing. :)

If you ever do extracting during a dearth and don't shut the doors and windows you'll have plenty of guests at the party! :lpf:
Truer words were never said. lol.

I had an extraction party last year and we kept the garage doors closed. It truly was a fun event just to see the harvest. The next day, the girls were gliding up and down the crest of my rooftop and several hundred had managed to get inside.

Wonderful pictures!! I liked the one of the little girl trying to snitch some honey out of the hive!

What a great experience for them!

Congratulations!
