thanks beeslave this may be dumb question but would color classification give an idea of necter source . i sell all my honey as wildflower exept for buckwheat. i hope im making sense asking.
It may give you an idea but not really. Sometimes taste and color together can give you an idea but not enough to put that as a nectar source on your label. Observing what your bees are working and tasting the honey as they make while looking at the color will help as you gain more experience.
