All,
I just got home with a swarm and it's already dark. My thought is to leave them in my cool basement until daylight, Can't imagine that I'd want to hive swarm after dark
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

They are in a medium super with 2 frames of drawn comb...1/2" opening along the bottom with screen in it. Has a wooden migratory cover and that screened opening stretches the width of the super.

I've got a vac that sucks them into a medium, and then i just leave them in it if i get home at night, and in the morning put comb into frames and into a deep, then move the medium over onto the deep. Wait for them to go down and start working the comb, then pull the top of my vac and put a inner and a top on it.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. I ended up leaving them in the basement till this morning. They got combined with a weaker colony. Laid a sheet out in front of the weak colony...shook a few frames of bees from that colony...poured out the swarm next to the established bees...and they all walked in together!
Again..thanks for the feedback.
