I removed a swarm from a tree 2 days ago closed up the nuc in the evening and put them into a medium deep. They tried to leave and ended up under the bottom corner on the screen in a lump. I then put a frame of brood into the hive to try to keep them from leaving which helped, half have gone inside but there is a very steadfast group that won't budge from that location. This morning after a good rain they are still there but there are also workers coming and going from the entrance like business as usual. My question is should I leave them be or should I try to gather them up and put them inside? Is the queen probably in that cluster somewhere? I am a second year beek so not sure what to do but I am trying real hard to do what is best for them when needed.
