I had a hive swarm and the medium super was about 60% full. Now that there aren't many bees left should I take that super and put it on one of my booming hives to have them finish it?

Leave it alone is my feeling. You might have a queen cell in that medium. Have you checked?

I would still leave it on. The bees in your hive are about to have a four week break from raising brood. Guess what they will be doing instead.

That's a good point. I'll leave it on and hopefully they'll get it finished.

It depends on your hive beetle situation. I am always pushing bees to keep the space limited because I have seen what hive beetle larvae can do. It also depends on the amount of capped brood. Your hive might explode in population if there are lots of these frames and you wouldn’t even miss the swarmed bees.
