Hi,

My bees in my strongest hive swarmed three days ago, could not find where they landed and poof they were gone. Since then the hive has had normal traffic and I went on when life! Today I was pulling weeds and bent under the hive and there was a huge mass of bees congregating underneath the screened bottom board of the same hive that swarmed. Could this be them?

I'd say likely. Why dont you rake them off, and put into a net hive, say a nuc or a 10 frame if is big enough. Check for queen , next day. If you find her in the move, put her in a queen cage for a day or so to help hold the bees in. Mabye a frame of brood and larve would be very good also. And feed em good. Good luck , rich

Just missed them. They are swarming now, luckily they are headed to my swarm box at the other end of the yard.
