I will be using the regular Langs... boxes. I would like to put them two on a skid to save space. How close or far should they be from each other. On a four foot skid ,that would leave about a foot in between and I could work
from the side of one, leving a few feet between the skids.Thanks.

I use pallets in one of my yards, but I cut them in half. I then can put 2 hives on one half and 2 more hives on the other half leaving about 4 feet in between the pallets to work the hives.

i like to place mine about 2 feet apart - this gives me a nice place to set the lit and super/bodies as we work the hives - keeps them off the dirt and grass -

we have ours in groups of 3-4 and then space the groups more then 10 feet apart -

but i have a lot of space - you might not -

but think in terms of what makes your life easier - the bees will follow you in your decision
