I can't inspect the hive today because it will be raining all day, again tomorrow, again on Saturday. Suppose to stop Sunday and be sunny. Today is day 7 after hiving. Is it ok to hold off til Sunday or would there be any pressing issues to inspect now? They are consuming syrup, I haven't checked their pollen patty but I see by their little legs that they are bringing in tons of pollen daily.

There is little you must do even to 21 days. True natural beekeeping would be the least intervention. I went a year without extracting or anything but inspections every 21 days. I had to split the hive and remove 12 gallons of honey when the year was over.
