Hive building tools

What are the most common tools one would use to build hives? I am not a wood worker by any means but I do have some building experience just not wood working experience. I like the idea of buying unassembled bodies to use as patterns....but cutting the joints is where I have no experience, would I use a router? What type of bits would I use?

The most used tool in my "shop" is the table saw followed by the radial arm saw, then the air nailer or air stapler. I use all rabbet joints cut on the table saw. I have tried the box joints and feel they are not worth the time and trouble. If my boxes need replaced in 5 or 6 years, so be it. I enjoy building stuff anyway. Another tool is a good glue like titebond lll.
