Hi all, I'm a first-year beekeeper in western PA. I've been a lurker on beesource for awhile learning here and there, I don't know a whole lot yet but am always happy to learn. I definitely will be posting questions on the forum in the future. However I will say, I do know that it is best to start off with two hives, however, due to finances I was unable to afford to get multiple packages. So I don't have the recommended two hives, only one. Thanks for all the future answers

Welcome! It’s recommended that you have two, but if you keep on your toes you’ll be ok.
Good luck!
