I sold my 4 backyard hives last night, and the fellow buying them dropped a box on his feet. Many bees were squashed and angry.

Today I have worker men replacing the siding on my house and they are being attacked by the lost and angry guard bees, any ideas on what to do to make it safe for them to work?

When I move bees, I like to leave one small hive or nuc set up for the lost bees to go into. I have a couple of frames with drawn comb. Each night, for a few nights, I move the frame of bees into an established hive elsewhere. I don't know if you have any equipment left to do this. If you do, even if you cannot move them, they may calm down. I do not have experience with leaving them.
