Where abouts in the province? I have been thru many times but never there long enough to have more than one meal!

I’m in southeast Mb close to Manitoba/Ontario border, small farming community on the edge of the Canadian Shield

Should be good variety of forage for bees and I doubt you ever get much for drought. Your weather probably pretty similar to mine. We dont have wax moth or hive beetles so it is worth putting up with a bit more cold.

Yes there is good variety of forage, I’m right on the edge of farmable land. So there is canola, alfalfa and all the wild,
