This is my first post since the Covid19 scare shut down the library, and, thus, my computer access along with it.

An exceptionally kind person found out that I lost my business and my home in a fire, and he went out and bought me a computer! WOW. Now that is one cool person doing an amazing act of kindness, largely because I'm a beekeepeer. Huge THANK YOU!

Its good to be back among the living, electronically speaking. I hope you are all doing well and made it through financially. I'm eeking forward.

Very sorry to hear about your troubles. Glad to hear about a good human. People can be pretty decent if given the chance, and some people are exceptional.
Welcome back kilo. Sorry for all of your troubles. Glad you are back and moving forward!

Very considerate of the guy. Glad you're okay, and glad you're back.
I can’t imagine losing everything, and a kindness has more value than one can imagine. Glad you’re back with the bees.
Cheers. Looking forward to hearing the next steps.

Welcome back to the forum- I am truly sorry to hear that you suffered such a loss- I can only imagine how disappointing and heart-wrenching this must have been.

It heartens me to read about your Good Samaritan. With all the trouble and challenges swirling around us these days it is encouraging to hear there are folks taking proactive steps to sow goodness into their community.

Best of success to you as you begin the no-doubt slow process of rebuilding, and I look forward to reading about your beekeeping efforts.

Things come and go, beekeepers just keep on making hives, setting swarm traps, feeding bees, decapping excess honey, etc., etc., etc...

Thank you for all the love, and yes, it is amazing the kindness some people can show. I love when I get to pay it forward or even repay with honey. You should have seen - Oh, yeah, duh, Y'all know that look when a face lights over a jar of honey...everyone here is a beekeeper too, haha. I'm preaching to the choir.

An encouraging note - a friend I'm helping just today said he should get himself a bee suit "just to go and watch". Now y'all know what happens next, right? He'll have his own hive by next Spring. He's also letting me use my table saw at his place to make up some hives, so I'll be back in the game with those big old Brother Adam / Modified Square Jumbo Dadant beehives some time soon.

Thanks again, everyone. It feels more and more like home just getting back to the forums. :gh:
