Greetings all. Been lurking for a bit and decided it was time to register. Expecting first nuc of bees sometime first of April. Doing a lot of reading and watching a few vids. Langstroth hive will be picked up next month. The crop of choice in the area is Hay and will be talking to the farmers about their spraying schedule and what they will be using. Will be ready to cover as needed for spring spraying. Until bees arrive, will be reading like mad.

Do you just hope they can handle it then? Is there a way to protect them? Our closest field is little over a mile from us, and all hay, no corn this year. Afraid this is just the first of many questions, as basic as it is.
