Greetings on a Sunny Sunday. While most folks are watching the Superbowl, my bees & I are just enjoying the weather: 60º F. and a breath of wind. The acacia trees are beginning to bloom here, and the eucalyptus can't be far behind. I'm new to the area, moved here for my bees, and they have flown every month, very nice. Beekeeping and beekeepers here are both great.

Hi,
I'm with you, it was a really nice day today. So nice I had to take a look in our hives. One is doing very well, the other has a small cluster. They might make it.

Some varieties of eucalyptus are blooming here already, My flowering peach is ready too pop, large red buds all over the tree.

PS Welcome

I bet you could find some variety of eucalyptus blooming in the bay area year around, with the globulus starting around Halloween. My apricot popped yesterday.
