Hello everyone!
I have been beekeeping for a few years now and always enjoy reading/learning new things. Different management methods, genetics. Things like that.
My background and education are in row crop agricultural production and I have background in animal agriculture as well. Bees are the most pleasant smelling livestock I have ever encountered... even when they smell a bit like bananas!
Looking forward to conversing with you all.
I am interested in trying my hand at queen rearing next season.
I was able to take advantage of a few very fortunately timed queen cells for both myself and some friends who had some queenless hives this year.
