Noobie here in Delaware,

I'm waiting for the call from my local Beekeeper telling me to come to pick up my 2 Nucs.
I'm expecting that, I hope in April.
I am so excited to start my journey as a beekeeper.
I have all my equipment ready.
I have joined the local bee club and have been to their beekeeping 101 class for beginners.
I have been watching youtube videos for over a year now, maybe close to 2 years and I have been reading " The Beekeepers Handbook " I think its Version 3.
I also have another book to read that the club handed out and I'll get to it shortly.
I do have a few odds and ends I want to get but they can wait I guess till the need arrises.

Another good book to read is First Lessons in Beekeeping by Keith Delaplane. (He spoke at one of my club's meeting this month.)

You should update your profile to show your location so in the future people responding to your questions can see where you are at a glance.

Welcome to Bee Source. I suggest subscribing to one or both of the major beekeeping magazines. You'll find lots of good info in them every month.
