Hi to all,
My name is Velimir and iam from Croatia, this is first year that iam beekeeper,so iam interested in all about bees.
Nectar flow this year was very low, constantly rain and wind didnt make weather friendly to our bees.

For now,i want to learn to breed queen bees,
some tips i found on this forum, which are great..

I tryed with hopkins method and have success, but i want to learn how to graft.
I have chinese tool, and some DIY tools, but i havent success with it.
Grafting is not guilt for failure, but queenright hive is,really is hard to find queen when iam making queenless starter hive..so i allways transfer queen on frame when making starter hive.

Thats for now.

Welcome sir:

You have a job to do on queen raising I guess. I have never done it, I want to and admire anyone who does it. I am sure it's like all, if you want to do it, go ahead and do it. That's going to be my take on it.

Welcome! I have not done any queen breeding, but there is a great video by Mike Palmer that describes a way to breed queens. I think the method he describes uses far less resources that the methods used by bigger operations. Might be worth checking out. I think this is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7tinVIuBJ8
