So last summer during a late July dearth hive inspection, I got to one hive with a no so cooperative population and in my rush get the hive closed up and the heck out of there I dropped a hive tool in a 3 high stack of supers. With the recent clean up, I guess I recovered my tool, thought I'd share, we all have these moments!

Lol,

I think I am still short a hive tool or 2 somewhere. I have about 6 and I use 2 at a time. I tend to set them down and forget where I put them while focusing on other stuff.
I'm the same, about 6 with a few missing. Tend to loose them when a dearth inspired hive is pinging my vail-just focused on finishing the task at hand and getting the heck outa Dodge.
