I just got a nuc and am hoping to grow a healthy hive. I never realized how just by having bees can make you so much more attentive to all the blossoming flowers in the area!

I will be looking through all the information here. Thanks to everyone for contributing it here for us newbies to learn from.

Welcome from NE Kansas Dan! It definitely does make one more aware of the nectar sources in the area. I have never paid so much attention to sweet clover, but that's a primary early source here, and I really track it now. Good luck to you!
