Got into my hives this last weekend. Reversed those that needed it, cleaned the bottom boards, applied Apistan, Bee Pro pollen patties, and syrup with Honey Bee Healthy. All were in good shape although not much brood yet. I found it odd that my weakest hive is the one that did not move up... Hardly any stores left either, however they are bringing in the pollen. I can't for the life of me figure from where, there is nothing blooming yet, not even the elms.

I guess I'm doing something right, I haven't lost a hive over winter in four years. *KNOCK, KNOCK!*

I observed an area of about fifteen to twenty cells of honey in a 'V' shape that had a green mold growing out of it. This is new to me, does it mean anything? And what would cause it?

I also noticed that my SMR queen no longer has a paint mark on her. Does the paint wear off or has she been replaced?
