I just recieved the 9 Frame hand crank radial with honey tank. I looked around and Brushy Mountain was the only company selling this type of two stage extracting system. Has anyeone used this extractor?

Having the holding tank under the extractor seems like a great idea. As the honey falls out of the extractor it is strained and ready to go. No second stage. Very easy to set up and seems well built. This is perfect for the person with small number of hives like me.

All I need now is some honey to extract. :D

I have no issue with the extractor or setup. However unless you are good friends with either Godzilla or King Kong, neither you nor your friends will be able to lift a full tank. In fact you probably won't be able to lift more than 5-6 gallons.

Now on the brighter side.... if set up properly above a box with light bulbs it would make a nice warming tank to allow the air bubbles to rise to the top before bottling.
