I'm preparing to venture out on a daunting task. A neighborhood guy has a martin gourd that has been inhabited by a colony of bees. He wants it gone. 16' up on a metal pole with several other gourds. The pole is too flimsy to be scaled with a ladder. I wish I had a trained monkey .... I also am still trying to get a bee-vac built so I can capture 3 tree colonies. The number keeps climbing. I don't know if the feral bees are multiplying or people are just starting to pay more attention to the bees, or if they are just discovering that I'm keeping bees.

Prolly coming to the local beekeeper. ;^)

The local farmer/dairy farmer knows I keep bees because I think he knows that I don't want bees killed from herbicides etc. He moves our round bails into the pasture for us but I haven't been called yet to retrieve any bees.

If I do, i thought I'd call Micheal B ;^) to come get em.
