Weeew weeeee
Big ole female!
Twice the size of the last skunk, so that makes it one adult male, one adult female and two young down and lord knows how many to go!

The wife smelled it first.... typical, and I just walked out with the .17 and sure enough I could hear it scratching on the hives. Turned on the flashlite and behold a stinker with a mouth full! You know how hard it is to hold a flashlite on a stinker and look through the scope at the same time?

LOL.... easier than I thought!

Another stinker floating in the pond for the snapper turtles.
Is it jus tme or is this one heck of a year for skunks?

May I suggest a live trap. You tend to get more sleep and can dispose of the stinker in the morning!

Yep have skunks here as well, have seen a dozen or more killed on the main road and they keep coming.
You could convert to upper entrances or put a small roll of chicken wire in front of the hive or put your hives up a bit higher, may be cheaper and less stress in the long run.
