3lbs of bees in my basement, waiting for the work day to end to install this evening. I'm pretty pumped - get to try out my ultra breeze jacket and all the other stuff I've been collecting over the last few months. I just how they stay in the hive.

Congratulations and good luck! Im on week 3 and it's really exciting.

I wondered about them in the basement thought. When I got my package I think there were like 100 bees stuck to the outside. Id didn't seem like that many, until i was driving home and they were flying around in the cab of my truck. No stings though!

I had mine in the passengers seat of my Jeep Wrangler, Soon as i got home and sprayed them alil. They was in the hive with the lid on, hardly any flying at all. And i forgot to mention that the newbie beekeeper walked back to the house with a smile on his face! Undiscribable!!! hahaha GOOD LUCK!!!

Bees are in the box. All went well. I took my time to enjoy it - the bees were very gentle, but it is a rush to be around 10,000 stinging insects that for the moment have decided you are not sting worthy.

I can't wait till morning to see if they are still there.
