Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say hello. This is my third go at beekeeping. I'm going to do it this time!
My old supplier seems to have retired. I live in Kentucky.
Who would be a good supplier for hardware and bees?
Thanks!

Hi Jason,

Welcome

I would Google " beekeeping supplies near me" or "Beekeeping suppliers Kentucky"

should then have a starting point.

BTW IF you are planning to start with NUC I would look to get that ordered soon, Some By Feb are sold out.

Being in Kentucky, I suppose Kelly, now part of Mann-Lake, would be your best bet. Look on Craigslist for people selling nucs in your area and get on the waiting list.

Dadant also has a branch in Frankfort. (888) 932-3268

Jason:

Welcome back to beekeeping- whereabouts in the Commonwealth are you located?

I am in the Western third of the state and there are a lot of local suppliers advertising overwintered nucs for sale about now.
