I picked up several honey supers for free at a garage sale. They contain fully drawn frames with nice light colored wax. 
A neighbor told me later that the old guy who owned the supers stored them with mothballs (not crystals) to keep out the wax moths.
I sniffed the supers and cannot smell anything like mothballs or chemicals of any kind. Should I be skeptical of using these supers & frames? :s
