I got calls for two different feral colonies of bees in Longview Wa. I checked them out and am not really interested in either, but someone who is younger or more desperate for bees than I am may be.
The first is in a fireplace chimney, over 20 ft above the ground, or maybe 12 foot if you work off a steep sloping roof. The homeowner said the bees are about 3 ft down the flue and fill most of it. Ph 360-425-7521.
The other colony enters under the roof on the second story. From the looks of this it is not a candidate for a trapout (too many potential entrances), and would most likely be a cutout from inside a small bedroom. The colony has been in there at least three years. Its unfortunately nearly 50 miles from my place and I've never attempted a cutout from inside an occupied house, so if someone closer is interested, its all yours. Ph 360-636-6072.
