Ive put my frames and foundation together,Ive noticed a small gap in the bottom bar and verticals where the routed grove follows through the bottom bar, should i fill this with a small dab of glue to stop a egg laying spot for SHB ?

You could, but the bees will fill it up with wax and propolis fast enough to prevent trouble.
