Hi,

Looking for tips how to proceed with my foundation supers. Is there any trick how to add supers if you dont have any drawn frames? I mean if i get my bees to the main flow without swarming, can i just throw full boxes of foundation on or could it make them swarm? Ok maybe few drawn frames from box below to the middle od the foundation box? Any suggetions?

Last year was my first year. I added frames with foundation, and they drew them out just fine. And, they put away a lot of honey. No swarming; I've never heard of that from adding foundation.

You can just put foundation on and let them go ahead and work it. They'll pull wax if they need the room to store nectar. If the flow is on, they'll pull wax from foundation quite quickly. Actually, a strong colony during a flow can draw an amazing amount of wax in a short period of time.
