Hands down, Formic Pro. Because of the heat this summer I couldn't use FP when needed, just before I left for EAS, so I put on Hop Guard II. At the end of treatment period + one week as the directions specified, I re-tested and more than half the hives had more mites than the numbers the day before the treatment began. Phooey! The best I can say is that if I hadn't treated, it might have been worse. But, really....! Some of the hives (I did 20 +) did have lower counts than before, but I wouldn't count it as a treatment success. Best thing that can be said is that it can be used when temps are too high for FP, but you should still expect to use FP when things cool down a bit. Used FP on them since then and got a good, immediate drop.
