Caught my first swarm and yes it was my own lol

Long story short it had made queen cells early March so I split it and put the queen above a dbl screen and it still swarmed so I am thinking a secondary swarm? Havent been back into the original hive bc its requeening.

I’m still 9 days ahead of last year’s first swarm, but getting some solid scouting at some of my traps today. It’s getting close now.
