Well I hadn't had the time to do a full inspection and on Friday the 18th I had my first ever swarm, it was my strongest hive and I was home and seen the whole thing happen...I waited till they landed on two fence post and brushed them in a small 5 deep frame swarm trap that was not set up yet...they wouldn't fit.. set up a deep 10 frame as fast as I could and carried them 200 ft to the 10 frame deep and bees were hanging everywhere and got them all in it...very exciting day

Nice catch, lucky you was able to see them swarm. I guess it is a good idea to have a extra box around just for something like this.

Congrats on hiving the swarm. We are about two hours west and south of you. Seems our bees are quite a bit behind your bees. Our drones are not yet flying.
